Digital Video Ads for 2017 Virginia House of Delegates Races 


First flight health care ad that ran in Virginia House of Delegates race that focused on Medicade expansion. The numbers of those affected were reduced to relate to residents of each district.  

This ad also ran in both Kelly DeLucia's (District 96) and Larry Barnett's (District 27) race. Each broke 40% on Election Day. 

This ad reached 61,847 Democratic and persuadable  users in the district. 


First flight ad on schools and accessible internet.  HB 1605 ('17) would slash money for public school funding and HB 1400 ('17) would establish a online school board.  The issue being that many of these delegates' districts do not have accessible internet, effectively cutting children off from education.  

This ad reached over 50,000 Democratic and persuadable  users in the district.  


GOTV Ad for Facebook and Instagram compiled of images from the Women's March on Washington in 2017.  Many candidates participated in the march.  The ad was adapted for 6 races in Virginia using images of the candidates near the end of their video. 

This ad ran in both Kelly DeLucia's (District 96) and Larry Barnett's (District 27) race. Each broke 40% on Election Day. 

The DeLucia ad included a link to the campaign website that provided additional information on where to find your polling place and what would be on the ballot.  That ad was shared more than 40 times over a one week span.  


This second ad is framed in a square format for better engagement on mobile devices and was distributed on both Facebook and Instagram.
